Employment Hero (rebrand)
Employment Hero is an Australian all-in-one HR and payroll software solution.
In 2024 and 2025, the brand underwent significant repositioning, consolidating the EH and Swag brands, rebranding Employment Hero and launching EH Work and EH Jobs apps.
As a senior digital designer, I was part of the team leading the rebrand. And we did it all in-house, from strategy to execution and ongoing maintenance.

Art direction
The brief
To position Employment Hero as the global authority on employment. This required an evolution of the brand identity to be bolder, more confident and distinctive — whilst still celebrating and elevating the heroes of employment.
The new brand

The brand
The logo is a distilled representation of our brand driver; it represents two people coming together as one dynamic force. The logo is a custom adaptation of our primary typeface, Saiga.
Employment Hero also underwent brand consolidation, retiring differentiated sub-brands such as Swag and SmartMatch and adopting a masterbrand strategy where all products and services fall under the Employment Hero brand. We launched two new apps, EH Work and EH Jobs, targeting the employee and jobseeker audiences.

Art direction / photography
Every photo should feel real: just like us. It’s how we show the people, energy and ambition behind Employment Hero. But we don’t stop at reality. We push our story further, capturing the drive that keeps us moving forward. Together, they show exactly who we are: ambitious, human, unstoppable.

ColourThe palette consists of two distinct violets to strengthen our presence across every channel, supported by tints and accent colours to highlight key elements and CTAs. Accessibility was kept top of mind, with all communications aiming for WCAG AA+ compliance.

Typography
Our hero font, Saiga, is a confident and bold sans-serif which contrasts with the expressive brush strokes of Antisocial. Antisocial brings a humanist element to our offering, linking Employment Hero’s deep knowledge with the everyday employers, employees and jobseekers we seek to elevate.

Our stickers are all about sparking joy and excitement. They’re the perfect sidekick to our photography, adding some edginess without stealing the spotlight.
